Screen England is the newly created parent agency for the UK's regional screen agencies set to inspire promote and support the development of a successful screen industry in the UK. The 9 regional agencies provide funding, training and support across all screen based media and, through Screen England, they can share resources centrally and offer consolidated support to the screen industry.
We were asked to create an overarching brand and to design and build a website to launch Screen England. The brand had to visually represent the 9 agencies whilst allowing Screen England to be individually recognisable. The brand utilises the 9 predominate colours used in each of the individual agency’s own branding to demonstrate that Screen England represents them. The brackets in the logo are taken from the test screen image commonly seen within broadcast, and is used as a holding device to represent the support provided by Screen England.
Every page of the site features links out to the regions to ensure that the message of cohesion is delivered as strongly as possible.
